This morning, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the death of Giuseppe Liuccio, the Da Costa a Costa Association laid the first brick for the establishment of the Giuseppe Liuccio Author House, a project that celebrates the cultural, political and social legacy of the poet, writer and journalist and intellectual from Cilento.

 

A plaque with the indication of the Casa d'Autore with lighting and panels was installed on Liuccio's birthplace, in the historic center of the village of Trentinara, to also involve residents and visitors.

In the attached images, Michaela Liuccio, daughter of the poet and President of the Association, and Rosario Carione, Mayor of Trentinara, in front of the commemorative plaque.

The birthplace of Giuseppe Liuccio will be transformed into a permanent documentation center, with the aim of illustrating and disseminating the multifaceted path of his figure. The activities and contributions will be digitized and made available through multimedia content, in line with a territorial enhancement strategy supported by new technologies.

While waiting for the completion of the project, from today, anyone walking through the streets of the historic center of Trentinara will be able to frame the QR code positioned in front of the birthplace, connecting directly to the website of the Association, already active in the dissemination of initiatives dedicated to the figure and works of Giuseppe Liuccio.

 

On the occasion of the second anniversary and as part of the Association's digital strategy, important communication developments were also launched:

 

1. Online Biography

On the Association's website, a section dedicated to the biography of Giuseppe Liuccio has been inserted, in a short and accessible form, designed to intrigue even those who have not yet had the opportunity to meet him. The page will be constantly updated and all interested parties are invited to contribute materials, memories or testimonies, by writing to: associati.dacostaacosta@gmail.com

2. Dedicated YouTube Channel

The channel "From Coast to Coast: Giuseppe Liuccio" has been created on YouTube, which will be enriched in the coming months with original and engaging content. The goal is to promote the territories of Cilento and the Amalfi Coast, following the visionary spirit and deeply linked to the land that has always distinguished Giuseppe Liuccio.

 

With this new step, the Da Costa a Costa Association renews its commitment to preserving and handing down the memory of a central figure of contemporary southern culture, through innovative and participatory tools.
